He made his first court appearance on 17 March and appeared again on 7 April for a bail application.
Tshwane ANC spokesperson Tebogo Joaga told Rekord this week the ANC was keeping a close eye on the court developments.
“We can’t take action until he has been found guilty by a competent court of law,” said Joaga.
“After the court has heard all evidence, and has handed down judgment, then we will act. He is currently out, and he reports for work as per his contractual obligation.”
Sindane is accused of being behind a hitlist targeting 11 ANC members in Mabopane.
Joaga said the party was still investigating allegations of a hit-list.
The list started circulating towards the end of l
ast year and reportedly includes the name of a Tshwane metro MMC.
Police earlier said Sindane was the second man arrested in connection with the list.
The first one was taken into custody on 3 November last year and was charged with conspiracy and incitement to a commit serious crime.
